How counselling helps

Counselling is an unfolding process where you embark upon a road of self discovery.
Counselling will enable you to gain more insight into your relationships, whether this is your relationship to the world around you, to others or your relationship to yourself.
I will support and work with you at your own pace in order to find your unique way forward.
You may feel stuck and unable to move forward repeating old patterns of behaviour. Through exploring and working with your unconscious processes in the therapeutic space, I will work with you to gain greater insight and awareness into your self .

I offer both short & long term counselling and psychotherapy dependent on your needs.
I offer a safe , confidential and non judgmental space where you can address your needs and concerns.
I will work with you to facilitate a process of change.
Working with a therapist can help support you through difficult stages of life & support you to support yourself.

Please contact me if you have concerns of any issues below therefore we can work together in a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space to address your needs, explore your concerns and develop ways to make changes. Working with a therapist can help you see things in a new perspective and give support through difficult times. Seeking professional support can be the first step to a more fulfilling life.

My experience includes work in a mental health agency , bereavement agency , domestic violence agency, drug & alcohol agency, and working with children at school.

I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds bringing a wide range of different concerns . I work collaboratively with my clients and consider that the relationship between us is the single most important factor for a successful outcome in psychotherapy and therefore confidentiality and trust are very important for me.
